Basically it is becoming acceptable that the practice of religious faith is something that should only be done in private, not in the public square.<br /><br />Seeing the judge who asked the question on Larry King say that the answer was inappropriate because Miss USA represents everyone, indicates that a religious faith that considers homosexual behavior sin is not a belief that is acceptable for everyone and at the very least should be left to private thoughts and not publicly spoken.<br /><br />Dr. Michael Brown recently wrote on this; <A HREF="http://voiceofrevolution.askdrbrown.org/2009/04/10/gays-out-conservatives-in-%E2%80%93-the-closet/" REL="nofollow">Gays Out, Conservatives In - the Closet</A> and I think he hits the nail on the head.<br /><br />It is becoming that our faith and the practice of our faith is restricted to our places of worship and our homes and is forbidden at our workplaces and in the public square. While I think it is sad that it is coming to this point, I do think it an inevitable part of our history and the plan of G-d.
